A \u00ab Lor\u00e9e Oboe Day \u00bb will be held by Dwight Parry and Mark Ostoich on February 5 at CCM, during which participants will be able to attend masterclasses, lectures, a faculty recital, while Carlos Coelho will exhibit Lor\u00e9e instruments for attendants to try. Alain de Gourdon will be there all day and give a lecture at 12:00.<\/p>\n

Schedule of Events<\/p>\n

9:15        Registration\/exhibits – Breakfast in the Baur Room
\n10:00     Masterclass – “The Fundamentals of the Audition” with Dr. Mark Ostoich
\n11:30      Lecture Demonstration – Oboe maintenance and repair with Carlos Coehlo
\n12:00     Lecture and Q&A – “The Lore\u00e9 Oboe” with Alain de Gourdon
\n12:30     Lunch break – try oboes, explore the vendor area, and stop by the “Reed Corner”
\n2:00       Masterclass – “The Solo Oboist” with Dwight Parry
\n3:45        Oboe Band – chamber music reading session
\n4:30        Snack break – last chance to visit the exhibit area and try oboes
\n5:00       CCM Faculty Recital – Dr. Mark Ostoich and Dwight Parry<\/p>\n
