After completing a double curriculum in violin and oboe at the Perpignan Regional Conservatory, he was accepted, ranked first, at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Lyon – studying with Jean-Christophe Gayot and Guy Laroche -, where he graduated with a unanimous First Prize in Oboe.
At the age of twenty, he joined the Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra as Principal Oboe and took up a teaching position at the conservatory of Strasbourg as well as at the Académie Supérieure des Arts du Rhin (pôle supérieur).
Holder of the Certificat d’Aptitude (CA) as oboe teacher, he also won no less than five international prizes between 2001 and 2004: Tokyo, Petritoli, Toulon, the « European Young Concert Artists » in Paris and the « International Young Concert Artists » in New-York.
He performs as a soloist and gives masterclasses in numerous countries: the USA, China, Japan, Italy, Spain, Thailand, Brazil, Malaysia, Korea…
A passionate chamber musician, he is a member of the Erasme quintet and performs alongside artists such as Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Emmanuel Pahud, Marc Coppey, Maurice Bourgue, Nemanja Radulovic…
He is a regular guest Principal oboist with the prestigious Chamber Orchestra of Europe and the Mahler Chamber Orchestra, under the baton of Robin Ticciati, Yannick Nezet-Seguin, Daniel Harding or Bernard Haitink.
In June 2024, he was recruited as Principal Oboe with the Orchestre de Paris.
During the 2024-25 season, in addition to his concerts with the Orchestre de Paris under the direction of Klaus Mäkelä, he will also perform as soloist alongside Nemanja Radulovic, with whom he recently recorded Bach’s double concerto for Erato-Warner Classics.
