A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Beverly Wang has been Principal Oboe of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra since 2013. She is deeply grateful to play on her Lorée oboes, which have been her musical partners through countless concerts and recordings.
Beverly has performed as guest oboist with the Philadelphia Orchestra, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and National Arts Centre Orchestra. She has also appeared as soloist with the Winnipeg Symphony, performing concertos by Mozart, Martinu, and Haydn, as well as Marcello in the city of Toronto.
Beyond the orchestra, she enjoys chamber music, teaching, and sharing her love of the oboe through lessons, masterclasses and workshops at universities across Canada.
